Bulb and LED replacement
Dipped, main beam, brake lights, indicators, reversing, fog, number-plate light. I select the right type and check that it lights properly.
A blown bulb is the simplest case, but a light also fails because of a fuse, a relay, a bad contact, a broken wire or a fault in the control unit. I come, check whether it's the bulb or something more, replace what's needed, and don't send you to a workshop just for a light.
It is good when others can see you — before a patrol does.
A dead dipped beam, brake light or indicator is a risk on the road and a fine at a roadside check. Driving with one light "until tomorrow" often ends in two workshop visits instead of one.
On many cars the bulb is not the whole story: on newer models the lamps work with a control unit, and a fault in one bulb can trigger a message or affect the other lights. That is why, when needed, I also read the fault codes from the lighting modules.
I come with a multimeter and a scanner, not just bulbs. If replacing the bulb does not help, I look for where the voltage disappears.
From replacing a bulb to the lighting wiring.
Dipped, main beam, brake lights, indicators, reversing, fog, number-plate light. I select the right type and check that it lights properly.
When the bulb is fine, I look for the cause in the circuit: a fuse, a relay, a contact in the box.
I check whether voltage and earth actually reach the bulb. It quickly points to a broken wire or a bad contact.
On cars with LEDs or xenon I read fault codes from the lighting modules, because the dashboard message is often a result, not the cause.
On some cars, changing the bulb type requires adjusting the control-unit setting. I tell you that before the replacement, not after.
You pay the call-out once: I check and repair all the lights at once, so I do not have to come twice.
If the problem is a cracked headlamp, a flooded lamp or a damaged reflector, replacing the bulb will not help. I will say so on the spot and explain what comes next, before you incur any cost.
I repair what can be done without stripping: bulbs, fuses, relays, contacts, wires, faults in the control unit.
The price is simple: call-out plus work. I quote the total by phone before I set off.
| Item | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Call-out | 150 zł | Within 50 km of Grodzisk Mazowiecki |
| Bulb / LED replacement | from 30 zł each | Depends on the car and bulb type |
| Fault finding and repair | 150 zł per started hour | When a service has no fixed price |
| Weekend work | +20% | Saturday and Sunday |
| Urgent night call-out | price by phone | Agreed before I set off |
Parts are not included in the labour price. I quote before I set off — never after the fact.
Usually one short visit.
You give me the make, model and which light is not working. I tell you how long it will take and quote the price.
I come to your home, your workplace or a car park. Weekends too.
I replace the bulb. If it still does not light, I measure the voltage at the socket and look for a break in the circuit.
I check all the lights before leaving and tell you what I fixed. The bill matches the price quoted before I set off.
Question not here? Call me — I will answer straight away.
When the light is only the beginning.
I find the cause by measuring: current drain, shorts, open circuits, intermittent faults.
Measurement and readout first, then the sensor is replaced — right where the car is.
Where I go: Grodzisk, Żyrardów, Pruszków, Warsaw and up to 50 km around.
Tell me the make, model and which light is out — I will come and check.
Real repairs, not a brochure
I film what I actually do — including the jobs that did not go my way.
